WTF, this has to stop. Why hasn't CCP addressed this issue. You guys on break or what?
There should be SOMETHING implemented, like others have said, a animation - a really damn slow one for heavies - where they are vulnerable.

ok, seriously though... my suit is 207k, lav is 61k. Those 3 deaths cost me 804k isk. how much did you spend on that militia suit of yours? I'm willing to bet that I lost more than you.
I've been trying to rack up some kills for this event because I was unable to play last week. I've also switched to a mouse temporarily and it seems to be very OP.
I'm far from the best player out there, so why aren't you asking CCP to nerf other people? 24/3 is not even that amazing. Nevertheless, it isn't my intention to make anybody feel butthurt. Tell me how much I cost you and I'm happy to send you the isk. My little rampage will be over very soon, so be patient.

I traditionally use the move controller, so compared to that the mouse is pretty nice. I agree though, aim assist or not, the controller is a pain. But everyone has their own preference.

Do I want it changed? As a scout I wanna say No but as a guy that likes things to be fair I wanna say Yes. So I'm kinda torn.
Looking at the final scores, I think that most people aren't very successful with this mechanic. I personally like it when people try to do the same to me. But I guess since I use it, I know how to counter it.

It is a standard LAV. I don't have a turret, if that's what you mean by "other" things. Just a two seater methana. Most of my time is spent chasing Tanks - sometimes the entire match. I also typically throw down 7 proto drop uplinks and 2 nanohives in strategic locations. I don't hack a lot, but if I'm on my logi, I will hack. If there are no tanks, and we are winning, then I drive around looking for reds. I usually finish with less than 10 kills in a match. If I'm running in a squad, then I will transport people if they need it.
I wasn't able to play last week, so now I'm catching up on this event. I've been skipping most of the logi stuff and letting some tanks go if they aren't shooting at me. I'm not typically so aggressive toward infantry.

Was that you that rammed my lav with your tank a little while ago? You stopped and shot a few shots at me after to let me know you tried to team kill me on purpose. I know the name was similar, if not the same. I should have paid more attention. If it was you, we're definitely even lol. If not, I guess it was another fan. It's hard being popular.

This is the guy. He got me twice I think, maybe three times. I got him and his LAV twice. I used RE's it's a pretty simple counter to LAVs when they can be as predictable as murder taxis.
You're right, of course. RE's are the biggest challenge. The post-mortem detonation frequently gets me. I really hope that's a bug. REs are becoming so common now though, so I am starting to just assume people will have them. I'm adapting, so be careful.

The one that I've used for the last couple of weeks does have reps. It's more like a test lav that is cheap and gets the job done. So far, I like it. I don't want to give the exact build right now, but if you steal it, you will see it.

So you think the slowest character in the game should be stuck in the middle of a vast desert with no nanohives or even drop uplinks to get back when he dies? Just sit there and camp an objective? What if my team redlines the other side from the beginning of the match? I would have to huff and puff my fat ass all the way to the other teams redline just for the match to be over by the time I got there. I'm sure that's fun for you, while you shoot my helpless ass from 200 meters away, but that doesn't sound like fun to me.
All I can say is that I hope CCP has enough common sense to ignore most of the complaints that I see on these forums. As others have said, people complain because they don't know how to counter it, so their only hope to win is to get the other side nerfed.
Anyway, my little rampage ended last night. So the OP can go back to playing in the streets with his friends again.
